Master Bedrooms VS Box Bedrooms

Writer: Alyssa BarnesAlyssa Barnes

In most homes, there is a large master bedroom and a smaller box bedroom in the corner of the house, but which one is better? While many people may say the bigger the better, there are definitely benefits to both. This blog will look at key differences between the two with the example of a 4 bedroom house feniscowles has.

Master Bedrooms

When moving into a new home, this is everyone’s first choice of bedroom, and for good reason! This so much space available, you have plenty of room for a big double bed as well as other furniture like a desk, chair or even a sofa for ultimate comfort. There is also plenty of room for stylish decorations, giving you the freedom to decorate your room in unique styles. Another key selling point of these larger rooms is the extra storage space. Whether that is a built-in dressing area or just the space to have more cupboards, you can store loads of clothes, accessories and other knick-knacks without fear of your room looking too crowded or messy. The 4 bedroom house feniscowles has are built with loads of storage and a walk-in dressing area for all of your clothes. However, since these rooms are so big, it takes a lot more effort to take care of them. It takes much longer to tidy-up, clean, hoover, etc. As well as this, master bedrooms are usually in prime locations in the home, meaning that they are closer to all the noise in a home. If you are a light sleeper or don’t like a lot of noise, this bedroom is not for you.

Box Bedrooms

Box bedrooms are known as the small bedrooms in the corner of the home that is usually given to the youngest or used as a guest room. While there are some downsides to this space, there are actually a lot of benefits as well. Firstly, there is less clutter and stuff to clean, doing a full sweep of the room only takes a few minutes. This can give you more peace of mind and a better headspace when the actual space around you is not cluttered or messy. A box room can also feel much cosier which is ideal for cold British winters when it’s harder to get warm. A key benefit that some people may not realise is that it is also much harder to lose or misplace things, meaning that you won’t have to tear up your room when your phone or keys suddenly go missing as there are only a few places they could be. On the other hand, these rooms are very small and don’t come with a lot of storage, meaning that it is harder to manage and find a place for all of your belongings. Luckily, the 4 bedroom house feniscowles has is built with extra store rooms in the home so even if you do find that you don’t have enough space in your room, you can store things in other parts of the home.
